George bravely appeared last night at the premiere of "The Good German," but was clearly sad about the passing of Max - shown above as a baby. You can read about George and his beloved Max at the link to People below.

I'm not a pig George, (well, some may disagree if they looked in my closet or bureau drawers)but I would be happy to console you and listen as you share lovely stories about your pet.

I am very sorry to report that George's pet pig, Max passed away this past Friday. As someone who loves her pets, I sympathize. This isn't Max, but this pig was sporting a lovely flower and I thought Max would approve.

I'm sorry for your loss, George. If you'd like a new (well, old) pet, I can offer you my ancient dog, who, like Dorian Grey will probably never leave us.
